This blog is where I write about my inquiries into the fields of science (social, linguistic and physical).
The title of the blog, Kallidomus, comes from the Greco-Latin words meaning “beautiful home,” which comes directly from the Finnish epic Kalevala from the lines:
“One’s own country is the dearest
One’s own table is the sweetest
One’s own home, the most attractive.”
I have a B.A. in English with a History Minor from Monmouth University. I am currently pursuing my M.A. in English. I have experience as editor for my colleges’ literary magazines and as a content creator for Odyssey. I offer freelance services in writing, editing, and book recommendations.
I am not a professional in any of the subjects written on this blog.
